Hungry? We are.

Like most people, we love food. But for us, it’s not just a passion, it’s an obsession. It’s the sole focus in our studio. We’re a team of kitchen scientists and food-loving photography savants with a never ending hunger. A hunger to innovate and push boundaries to deliver uniquely delicious imagery that ensures better, more mouthwatering outcomes.

The Team.

Carina Giacomelli Director of Photography

Favorite food: Bagels

As Director of Photography, Carina sets the standard and ensures delivery of world-class food imagery for every engagement. Her collaborative approach, down-to-earth personality, and creative flair have attracted national brands like Publix, Smucker’s, and Bolthouse, who trust her ability to showcase their products in the most appetizing light.

An award-winning stylist and photographer, Carina’s experience in fashion and food photography enables her to bridge aesthetic worlds that rarely intersect and elevate everyday ingredients with a unique eye.

Her journey began at Pratt Design School and evolved through a mix of high-fashion(Victoria’s Secret Angel photoshoots), graphic design, and culinary experience. Her background in design gives her a distinctive perspective on composition and color theory, and she refined her unique approach to food styling and photography by shooting digital content, on-pack products, and original recipes for countless CPG food brands. Her thirst for knowledge and ability to “figure anything out” has been instrumental in the studio’s growth.

Carina is a jack of many trades. When not in the studio, you can find her running after her two toddlers, hanging at her husband’s bakery, or tending to her half-acre garden and 30 chickens. She also collects and creates handcrafted ceramics that often find their way into our prop library.

The studio.

Control, flow, efficiency, freedom. These elements provide the optimal balance for a 3-bay, 3,000-square-foot photo studio. Our restaurant-grade kitchen lies on one end, our props and storage on the other, and between is an agile, transformable space with multiple bays and technology optimized for test shoots, large-scale, multi-day shoots, and remote and in-person art direction. With numerous environmental setups, we can emulate a casual at-home kitchen environment or a Michelin-star restaurant spread. With three freezers, three walk-in refrigerators, and a dry stock pantry, we can store, test, and plan for any ingredient.

And with a coffee bar, lounge and private workspace the studio is a super comfortable place to just chill or crank out some work in between shots if need be. Come have some fun, and some great food!
